Dr. Vikrant Kale has been actively involved in teaching medical students at the bedside, inwards, in clinics, and in tutorials. He enjoys being proactive with students and has had good feedback from them. He was a trainer and was the medical lead for the ALERT course in Kilkenny (Acute Life-threatening Event Recognition and Treatment). He also organized ‘Train the trainers’ courses for ALERT and Along with Prof Courtney he was involved in the process of rolling out the COMPASS course, which is a part of the Acute Medical Programme in Ireland.
