Dr. Samrat Jankar is an experienced Surgical Gastroenterologist & does all Advance Laparoscopic GI, & Hepatobiliary, Colorectal Surgeries, and hernia surgery at PCMC, Pune. He is more than 15 years of experience in treating complicated patients having advanced GI surgical diseases, Laparoscopic Surgeries, and surgical procedures. At present, he is the Director & Head of the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology at the Kaizen Gastro Care Clinic, PCMC, Pune. He has extensive experience in treating complicated patients having advanced GI surgical diseases. Dr. Samrat Jankar has performed 1000+ successful laparoscopic surgeries also He has special expertise and experience in Laparoscopic Surgeries, LIFT, a novel procedure for complex fistula. He is also working as a Surgical Gastroenterologist, Advanced Laparoscopic Surgeon, and Abdominal Wall Reconstruction Surgeon at Symbiosis University Hospital and Research Centre, Pune. 

Dr. Samrat Jankar is an expert in gastrointestinal surgery, colorectal surgery, bariatric surgery, HPB surgery, proctology, and laparoscopic surgeries. He is a surgical gastroenterologist whose work includes the management of diseases (stones, tumors, infections, etc) arising in the stomach, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, colon, and the anorectum. His advanced skill with laparoscopic techniques enables him to do most of this with minimal access translating into increased comfort for the patient. He has a special interest in minimally invasive colorectal, AWR (complex hernia), and complex fistula surgeries. He is keenly interested in the minimally invasive (Keyhole) approach for all gastrointestinal problems with the aim to transmit the benefits of the MIS approach to all patients.  

He completed his MBBS from the prestigious Grant Medical College in Mumbai. After which he went on to get his MS in General Surgery from VMGMC in Solapur. He gained his DNB in Surgical Gastroenterology, from Gem Hospital & Research Center, Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu.
